Knitting is Better Than Smoking

Who can argue that knitting all around a better habit to have than smoking cigarettes? I personally have never even tried a single cigarette. Growing up with a father who smoked was enough to warn me off. Just like most smoker's homes our upholstry, curtains, clothing and yuck, towels smelled of tobacco. The walls had to be painted every two years to to cover the nicotine yellowing.

Well, knitting has none of these side effects. Plus, it does not cause cancer, yet another plus.

So I raise the question, if employers let people go for 15 minute smoke breaks, what is wrong with 15 minute knitting breaks?
