knit faster, knit faster, knit faster

There are only 5 days left before the opera. We're seeing Die Zauberflote at the Metropoloitan Opera and it is imperative that I wear my vogue scarf.

That is five days to knit 2 more flowers, form 8 more flowers, sew 25 crystals into the flowers arrange them on the scarf base and sew it all together. Is it Ok to call in sick to work in order to knit a scarf? I only have time on the weekend, between kayaking and chores. Work on Friday, Monday and Tuesday. Most of the scarf has been knit on the subway.

Ultimately, I should be asking myself, why am I blogging now instead of knitting?
