Finished Geranium Bulky Alpaca

I finished the geranium hat this morning at about 2 am, while our friends Richard and JoAnn were over. This is the gift hat for Justine, although it may be too purple or pink for her. Then I'll have any excuse to knit another in the red.
I'm very happy I can start on yet another hat. This one will be a a basket weave pattern using Catalina baby alpaca in brown.

My next hat gifting victim is JoAnn. She is going to pick out a pattern and yarn.
Hmm, are there any summer-wear projects for knitting?
